Big Brain Support was founded in 2007 by me, Robert Steenwyk. I worked, and still do, for a computer support company that does highly technical work for businesses. So why did I get into supporting people like you, home computer users?

I had heard horror stories from friends who had used services from the big retailers. They were charged exorbitant amounts of money and the service was shoddy.  Even worse was the help given by computer manufacturers, their support was cryptic, hard to follow and rarely got to the bottom of the issue even after being transferred between multiple people.

You don't have to worry about any of that with Big Brain Support, if you decide that you want to hire me to fix your computer I will attack the problem and get to the bottom of it. In fact, if I can't figure out what is wrong with your computer, I WILL NOT charge you.

When I founded Big Brain Support I had a couple clear goals in mind:

1. Provide extremely professional computer support to home users in West Michigan.
2. Provide this support at very competitive prices.

I deliver on these goals by taking the time to explain to you what is wrong with your computer, what may have caused it, how to prevent it for the future and of course fixing the problem. I can achieve the second goal by having almost no overhead. The only monthly cost the business has is the small one of paying for the hosting of this site.
